We visited India and met our great business partner Polytech Instruments Pvt. Ltd. for the first time.

Die Reise nach Dehli begann mit einer Verspätung aufgrund starker Schneefälle in Europa, so dass wir mit einem Tag Verspätung ankamen, was zum Glück kein Problem war, da wir noch rechtzeitig zur weltgrößten Papiermesse Paperex23 in Noida/Indien ankamen.

It was our first time in India and we were very impressed by the culture and the warm-hearted people.

Seeing the work of our partners with customers at Paperex23 has strengthened our trust in them. They provide a fast, reliable and experienced service that is consistent with our business philosophy.

Meeting so many customers in person was a great opportunity to network and understand the Indian market.

We had a very positive and wonderful experience and look forward to further successful cooperation with Polytech Instruments Pvt. Ltd. and India.

PTE Austria, together with its German partner Schnettler Technologies, has delivered and commissioned the first plant for the new pulp testing laboratory of ACTEGA North America in Philadelphia – USA.

First commissioning of PTE Austria equipment for new pulp laboratory at ACTEGA North America

PTE Austria’s Managing Director Michael and our German business partner Andreas traveled to Philadelphia to commission the delivered equipment and train the laboratory staff of ACTEGA North America.

For PTE Austria it was the first delivery to ACTEGA and a premiere for both Michael and Andreas, who had never traveled to the USA before.

The flight from Frankfurt/Germany to Philadelphia takes about 8 hours and when the two arrived at the airport they were tired and exhausted.

After a restful night in the hotel, they visited the new pulp testing laboratory of ACTEGA North America, a leading manufacturer of water-based and energy-curing coatings, inks and adhesives for the printing and graphic arts industry, to train the laboratory staff on the new PTE Austria equipment.

The intensive training lasted three days and afterwards Michael and Andreas took time to get an impression of Philadelphia and New York.

PTE Austria’s team says goodbye to Erich, our long-time friend and colleague, who is going into well-deserved retirement.

We say goodbye to Erich and wish him all the best for his retirement!

Erich, one of our mechanical engineers who brought a lot of creativity and experience to the team, announced at the end of 2022 that he had requested his retirement. In February 2023, not much later, he was able to retire.

Although we miss him very much on the team, we are nevertheless very grateful that he can finally enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

We celebrated our farewell in a nearby Austrian restaurant, and to counteract any possible boredom, he was given a small schnapps distiller as a gift. We are already looking forward to testing the quality of his home-distilled delicacies from his “home laboratory”!

Dear Erich, thank you for your ambition, your knowledge, your creativity and your time that you have invested in PTE Austria and we wish you all the best on your new path in life!

We were pleased to welcome Mr. Vicky Dermawan from Xell Asia Tenggara, a friend and trading partner, from Indonesia for training with us in Austria at the beginning of November.

Not only the arrival and departure with 17h 15m flight time each way were intensive, also the equipment training was detailed and informative.

We have had a relationship with Vicky for over 10 years and he and his company have been our exclusive representative for Indonesia since the beginning of PTE Austria.

We were very pleased that Vicky Dermawan / PT.Xell Asia Tenggara, our exclusive representative for Indonesia, took part in the equipment training with us in Austria.

Further training courses and a visit by PTE Austria to Indonesia are planned for 2023/24.
