For determining the splinter content and classifying fibers.
Device description
The Haindl fractionator is manufactured from high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. In the lower part of the fractionator is a motor with an eccentric shaft that moves a rubber diaphragm up and down. The motor speed—and thus the number of strokes per minute—can be adjusted up to 200 strokes per minute. The pulsating diaphragm creates pressure and suction movements on the screen plate mounted above it. The standard screen plate has slits 0.15 mm wide, through which smaller fiber components are flushed out, while larger particles or splinters remain on the screen plate. The water is sprayed through the screen via a calibrated ring nozzle. The fractionation time is set using a timer.
